It is my pleasure to welcome you to the official website of the Fujairah Charity Association.<\/p>\n

Our commitment to the continuous renewal of the website and the activation of all charitable and humanitarian services in an electronic format aims to facilitate access for those in need, inform benefactors about the services, programs, and activities provided by the association, and engage with all groups interested in charitable and humanitarian work across its various fields\u2014whether individuals, public or private institutions, or benefactors. This fosters deeper bonds of cooperation and active participation through the website’s pages.<\/p>\n

**The Beginning:**
\nThe journey began with the establishment of the Student Assistance Fund in 1986 by a group of benefactors to support students from the children of Fujairah in continuing their educational journey at all levels, under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, may Allah protect him.<\/p>\n

In the following year, 1987, the Fujairah Charity Association was officially established under Ministerial Resolution No. 57 issued by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. Its objectives include focusing on education, individual and family development, and implementing humanitarian, charitable, and developmental projects such as student assistance, supporting people of determination, productive family projects, preserving blessings, aiding patients, orphan sponsorship, and much more.<\/p>\n

In 1989, the association founded the Fujairah Center for Science and Culture as the first specialized center for continuing education in the emirate, aimed at strengthening students across all academic levels. The center was later transformed into “Fujairah College” on September 1, 2006.<\/p>\n

In 2004, the association launched projects aimed at developing and empowering families to become productive households by enhancing their capabilities and skills. Examples include women\u2019s taxi services, sewing, and food production projects.<\/p>\n

In 2013, the association inaugurated a training and qualification center for productive families under the slogan \u201cFrom Our Own Hands.\u201d The center offers a wide range of free courses and workshops for women aspiring to venture into private enterprise.<\/p>\n

With the generous initiative of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, may Allah protect him, the association launched the \u201cPreserving Blessings\u201d project in 2004. This project collects surplus food from weddings and events and distributes it to the needy, in addition to providing water coolers.<\/p>\n

The association also implements diverse seasonal charitable projects, including (Ramadan food packages, Iftar for fasting individuals, Zakat Al-Fitr, Eid clothing, and sacrificial meat offerings), in addition to year-round humanitarian programs such as (medical cases, orphan sponsorship, Zakat, social assistance, and charitable endowments).<\/p>\n

The continuous development witnessed by the association is, by the grace of Allah Almighty, the result of the collective efforts of benefactors, government and private institutions, charitable and humanitarian associations and bodies, media outlets, and all supportive entities that have made significant contributions to the association\u2019s journey and its humanitarian and developmental activities.<\/p>\n

At the Fujairah Charity Association, we call upon people of goodwill and benefactors to contribute to supporting charitable and humanitarian projects for the benefit of the poor and needy.<\/p>\n
