Under the directives of H.E. Saeed Mohammed Al Raqbani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fujairah Charity Association, the Association distributed the book “The Messages” by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God preserve him, to the Board Members and staff of the Association, in an initiative aimed at spreading a culture of reading and knowledge, entrenching the values of leadership, giving and institutional excellence, and benefiting from inspiring national experiences in developing work and raising performance.
H.E. Yousef Rashid Al Marshoudi, Director General of Fujairah Charity Association, affirmed that this initiative stems from the keenness of H.E. Saeed Al Raqbani to promote a culture of knowledge and continuous learning among the Association's staff, and to enrich their professional and intellectual experience with the leadership insights, wisdom and inspiring human and national experiences contained in the works of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Al Marshoudi said: “The book “The Messages” represents the essence of an exceptional leadership experience of an inspiring leader who, through his thought and vision, has contributed to making achievements, building people and anticipating the future. It offers profound lessons in sincerity, work, responsibility and turning ambitions into tangible achievements, values we are keen to entrench in the environment of charitable and humanitarian work”.
He added that the book, which is the second part of His Highness's work “Life Has Taught Me”, contains 26 messages addressed to the family, the work team, the citizens of the nation and the world, distilling nearly six decades of public service, with the experiences, situations and lessons they carry in leadership, government work, building people and serving the nation.
Al Marshoudi noted that distributing the book reflects the Association's interest in investing in people, developing institutional awareness, and motivating staff to read and benefit from pioneering leadership experiences, affirming that charitable work is not limited to providing assistance, but is also based on building capabilities and fostering the spirit of initiative, responsibility and innovation in serving society.
Al Marshoudi concluded his statement by affirming that the works of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum represent a rich knowledge and national asset and a source of inspiration for generations, with the values they carry of hard work, optimism, giving and shaping the future, noting that the Association seeks to translate these values into institutional practices that contribute to developing its performance and strengthening its humanitarian and community mission.
