Preserving Blessings
The Launch
The "Preserving Blessings" project was launched twenty years ago in the Emirate of Fujairah, inspired by an enlightened idea and supported by His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah. The Fujairah Charity Association began implementing the project in 2004 as an innovative humanitarian response to reduce food waste and deliver aid to those in need.

More about the "Preserving Blessings" project
The project aims to promote a culture of moderation and preserve excess food in households, educate the younger generations, and raise awareness among families, encouraging them to conserve surplus food and deliver it to those in need by storing it in "Preserving Blessings" refrigerators. Since its establishment in 2004 until October 2024, the project has distributed 8 million meals to deserving groups. This success is not just about numbers; it reflects a true spirit of solidarity and commitment to serving the community and reducing waste. Today, under the guidance of His Excellency Saeed Al Rukbani, Chairman of the Board of Fujairah Charity Association, the project covers more than 88 locations across the Emirate of Fujairah, supported by 161 refrigerators and water coolers**. These are placed to receive food, with health guidelines clearly displayed, under the direct supervision of the Fujairah Municipality and in partnership with institutions and benefactors. In a step toward modernization and innovation, an interactive map was launched, enabling easy access to food distribution sites. This has improved operational efficiency and expanded the reach of the project’s services to more beneficiaries. "Preserving Blessings" is not just a project; it is an ongoing message of giving and preserving blessings. With every meal provided, we move closer to achieving a cohesive society built on cooperation and compassion. Thanks to your support, we continue to spread goodness and expand our impact... because kindness unites us."
