Zayed Humanitarian Work Day is an honourable humanitarian milestone in the history of the UAE, on which we recall the highest meanings of generosity and giving of the Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, who through his lofty principles and noble values laid the foundations of humanitarian work in our beloved country, and whose generous hands extended with goodness to all the countries of the world, without regard to colour, religion or race. Our wise leadership followed in his footsteps and, after him, carried the banner of humanitarian work locally and internationally, so that the UAE has become a symbol of goodness and tolerance and a model to be followed in humanitarian work worldwide. On this occasion, so dear to all our hearts, we live with the legacy and achievements of the pioneer of humanitarian work, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul. God Almighty blessed him with a love of goodness, and he devoted his life to great humanitarian works that brought happiness to the hearts of millions inside and outside the country. No sincere humanitarian work for the sake of God and humanity is mentioned without the image of Zayed, his cheerfulness and his presence full of hope leading this scene. We affirm our commitment to following this approach and to continuing to consolidate the values of goodness and giving by implementing initiatives that strengthen the standing of the United Arab Emirates as a global model to be followed in the field of humanitarian work, under the shade of our wise leadership.
