Fujairah Charity Association announced the success of this year's Udhiyah campaign under the slogan “Your Giving Is Joy”, which benefited more than 33 thousand beneficiaries inside and outside the country, through the distribution of Udhiyah meat and the implementation of humanitarian and community initiatives aimed at bringing joy and happiness to eligible families during the days of Eid Al Adha.
H.E. Yousef Al Marshoudi, Director General of the Association, affirmed that this success was achieved by the grace of God Almighty, and then through the support of benevolent people and the efforts of the work teams and volunteers. The slaughter and distribution operations were carried out in accordance with Sharia controls and regulatory requirements, reflecting the spirit of cooperation and institutional work and the keenness to deliver support efficiently to those who deserve it.
Al Marshoudi explained that the campaign embodies the values of solidarity and compassion and revives the blessed Sunnah of Udhiyah, noting that the slaughter and distribution operations inside the country were carried out in cooperation with a number of accredited abattoirs in the Emirate of Fujairah and its areas, in addition to allocating centres for distributing Udhiyah on behalf of donors who entrusted the Association with performing the rite and distributing the meat of their sacrifices.
He noted that during the Eid season the Association was keen to implement accompanying humanitarian initiatives, including providing Eid clothing for more than one thousand beneficiaries from families and orphans, as well as distributing fruit baskets to hundreds of dignified families in need, with the aim of sharing the joy of Eid with beneficiaries and strengthening the social stability of families in need.
At the end of his statement, Al Marshoudi expressed his thanks and gratitude to the benefactors and supporters for their continued trust in the Association, affirming that their contributions had a great impact in widening the circle of beneficiaries, achieving the objectives of the humanitarian campaign and consolidating the values of giving and social compassion.
