Fujairah Charity Association and Tawzea Company signed a cooperation agreement to distribute shopping vouchers for the “Ramadan Provisions (Al Meer)” project, under which Tawzea Company will distribute the “Ramadan Provisions (Al Meer)” cards to eligible families registered with the Association across the areas of the Emirate of Fujairah, through its geographical reach, with the aim of making things easier for beneficiaries, under the directives and follow-up of H.E. Saeed Al Raqbani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association.
H.E. Yousef Al Marshoudi, Director General of the Association, said that the number of beneficiaries of the Ramadan Provisions (Al Meer) project this year is 9,400 individuals in various areas of Fujairah.
He added that Fujairah Charity Association has begun delivering the shopping vouchers for “Ramadan Provisions (Al Meer)” to eligible beneficiaries at their homes according to the number of family members, enabling them to purchase their food and consumer needs and the requirements of the month of Ramadan, in various areas of the Emirate, while it continues to distribute in-kind food supplies to those eligible throughout the year.
He added that “Ramadan Provisions (Al Meer)” through “shopping vouchers” enables low-income families to obtain their needs of food supplies, fresh meat and various in-kind consumer goods.
In conclusion, Al Marshoudi affirmed that the Association welcomes the contributions of benefactors and givers in our beloved country and of the residents on its good land.
