H.E. Saeed Al Raqbani: The UAE is a symbol of giving and human brotherhood.
On the occasion of World Humanitarian Day, which the world celebrates on 19 August every year, H.E. Saeed Al Raqbani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fujairah Charity Association, said that the UAE has achieved unprecedented historic accomplishments through its humanitarian efforts under the directives of our wise leadership, embodying the noble humanitarian values established by the Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, by the will of God Almighty, may God rest his soul. It has thus led the countries of the world in its humanitarian giving, becoming a global model through which it leads all the countries of the world in the field of humanitarian giving.
Al Raqbani added that “Fujairah Charity Association” strives to embody these values by helping groups in need, including students, families in need, orphans and patients, and through many other charitable projects and sustainable development projects implemented by the Association. Its spending on charitable and humanitarian projects from 1986 until 2022 has exceeded AED 1,190,670,000, benefiting 15,413,390 people, in a journey of giving spanning 37 years under the umbrella of our wise leadership
